Recently, we celebrated the farewell of a longtime friend and colleague, who for 20 years was a successful illustrator and 3D artist here at medicalvision. Our dear Rainer, who was celebrating his retirement, brought the champagne and cake. The rest of us brought with us a farewell gift and an anecdote or two. In the 20 years Rainer was here we had a lot of fun!
Rainer had his own stories to contribute - his career as a goldsmith's apprentice to a 3D graphic designer is an interesting one; from his early desire to master computers to his current expertise in the latest graphic software. But it was not only his creative ability that brought medicalvision forward; There was also agreement within the team that Rainer always had a minute to discuss design or application problems and was happy to help divulge the secrets of his own skills to others.
Such a farewell was a bittersweet moment with our longtime colleague, who is certainly looking forward to a new chapter in life.
Dearest Rainer, we wish you all the best for this new phase of your life - and the entire team wishes you good luck, and good health. Enjoy retirement old chum!
