“Dr. Nentwich questions the practice of sport for young ICD patients“ - DeviceMed. This is a very interesting article because many cardiac patients are still young and because the S-ICD by Boston Scientific is more modern and less risky method of implantation than the transvenous implant.

A quote from the DeviceMed-article: “(...) therefore a general prohibition of sports for young ICD patients is not necessary anymore.“ – and this is exactly what we thought when we heard that Daniel Engelbrecht is fighting back.
