ON WORLD HEART DAY: HOW 3D VISUALIZATIONS CAN MAKE THEORY COME TO LIFE
ON WORLD HEART DAY: HOW 3D VISUALIZATIONS CAN MAKE THEORY COME TO LIFE
Knowledge can save lives—but only if patients truly understand what is happening in their bodies.
In Germany alone, over 100,000 people are hospitalized each year due to heart valve disease—and this number is on the rise (German Heart Report, Update 2025, p. 19, 46). Cardiovascular diseases remain the leading cause of death worldwide, and unfortunately heart valve disorders are often diagnosed at advanced stages. (WHO Factsheet).
UNDERSTANDABLE PATIENT INFORMATION REACHES ITS LIMITS
Medical education is often not visual enough to truly be understood by patients. According to the Federal Ministry of Health, many patients only remember some information after a doctor's appointment, or they feel overwhelmed, or even misjudge their health situation (BMG – Health Literacy).
Studies indicate that three out of four people in Germany have limited health literacy. This means they struggle to find, understand, evaluate, or convert relevant health information into their own health situation. Factors like education, income, or background play a minimal role (AOK / G+G: "Health Literacy is Declining," April 2025). This leads to uncertainty, poorer self-management, and lower therapy success. Brochures, conversations with their HCPs, and searching for technical terms online are simply no longer sufficient.
SOLUTION: PRESENT MEDICAL INFORMATION VISUALLY IN 3D, WITH SOUND & INTERACTION
👉 Discover: The Heart Valve – Interactive application.
Modern medicine must find new ways to communicate knowledge, so we have developed "The Heart Valve." This application integrates complex medical information into an intuitive, attractive 3D experience:
✅ For Patients: They can see and hear what happens in the heart. Diseases like aortic valve stenosis or insufficiency become understandable both visually and audibly for the first time.
✅ Interactive Model: Direct exploration of the heart or a comparison between "healthy" and "sick" hearts through detailed animations with real heart sounds.
✅ For Doctors: Precise visualization during patient conversations, allowing patients to be actively involved; this fosters better understanding, self-competence, and therapy adherence.
✅ For Companies & Clinics: The application can be adapted to other devices, therapies, and diseases, potentially creating a comprehensive digital education compendium.

Patient Information That Sticks: The Future of Medical Communication
"The Heart Valve" transforms complex realities into a tangible experience. It allows patients to see and hear their own anatomy and their diagnosis. For doctors, it offers an exceptional opportunity to communicate clearly and start a dialogue. For companies and clinics, it is a chance to stand out from the competition with innovative communication and learning content.
Understand diseases. Get clarity. Act autonomously.
